Crit prep
I was pleased to see that STeph and I seemed to achieved a lot by this stage compared to a lot of other people. We seem to be really on top of it all.
Double sided Newsprint went so badly-the paper has changed and the ink HATES it. It bleeds all over the shop-we will need to change this-antique white? to keep the newspaper style.
My mock up fish-it needs to be fatter to fit the watch comfortably around it. It will act as a packaging cushion and add to the theme and the humour of the range.
I think that Steph did such a great job in the type and layout part of our response for the newspaper design. WE met up and went through area I thought could be tweaked. For example by adding in the dotted line and making the voucher fit to this cut out edge it gives the newspaper a more traditional cut -out voucher feel to it. Also by fitting the text around the fish it leaves less negative space which is what we wanted to achieve with an old fashioned crowded newsprint. the vary in point size also achieved this look.
