First experiment with the style of work I would like to pursue. I got tired of trying to make this brief be relevant to what I want to do with my life. I am learning a new software, not quite the medium I see myself using but still a really useful thing to learn. Thats why I want to choose a light hearted subject matter (imaginary friends and way of producing imagery because it still matches my taste but really helps me just get to grips with the software and the stubborn action matches the awkward imagery. I used some of Mike's theory in this of using a photoshop file and preparing it before. It was fairly easy so hopefully this means I can create more intricate designs. For example all the balloons could be moving...
After some story boarding I am a bit worried about my project. I feel like it is turning into something that has been done before and a nothing really new to my work. I have mostly been brainstorming mischievous events which lead to image based type. It seems to be too much like the drop dead fred into with a style of drawing too similar to the quentin blake land. Although it might look ok its not really what I wanted to get out of this project. I am too scared to change my subject matter as I feel I have wasted time. I have been brainstorming along side and have come up with a few basic ideas but nothing worth changing too! Oh fretting.
