Reaction to the grenade has gone from ok, lets do it-to shock-to ok lets do it.
At first I could only think of ideas for other people and was loosing sight more and more with my own relations to my original concept. If my word was FUNCTION and my image was a natural scene ie. a beautiful tree, surely that would simply mean I would make something functional but really pretty.
Then came-what am I packaging
relevant items to package would be:
a tree
a leaf
a seed
an acorn
a flower
an image of the above etc
I will use this as a starting point. First thing tomorrow when the light is nicer I am going to go and take some pictures of some nature in its nicest form. This is an initial mock up reaction .. thing. Not necessarily very nice but I thought of it as it looks like something rigid that had been cut into, ie a tree that had been cut into.
Mike's session have come in handy it seems. This is a technique I learnt involving duotone. Perfect for a two colours plus stock brief when I want to use photography.
