Last night I had an epiphany.
In my presentation I presented;
Minimalist interior design
Ballet
Histology- "Science that you can't see"
Accidental colour co ordination
Waitrose essential packaging
Out of the end of it came; "You know it is good when too much of it won't damage you". For example, too many cells can build up and cause clotting etc, too much ballet damages your growth and muscles, too much minimalist interior design means that going in un nurtured spaces where positive and negative space has been taken into account-you become nervous and cant withstand natural environments where the balance of space is wrong.
So in my presentation I came out with a good attitude of investigating further into histology. Last night I was thinking about it as the reason as why wasn't crystal clear. Then I thought, the reason I like it is that it was designed purely for function-to do a job in the body. However, regardless of what it does it still manages to look so beautiful. It is function over form but the form is still wonderful.
On this subject, purely straight off of my mind without a thorough brainstorm this could be the same with other things. For example, a face without makeup. The features on the face are al there for a reason-eyes ears mouth nose cheekbones (skull to guard the brain), yet this face could be beautiful. A sunrise or sunset exists to provide sunlight to another part of the world. This can be beautiful. Plants have many pigments of colour in them to attract insects to pollinate. Plants can be beautiful.
I need to do a brainstorm.
So to continue, When it is function over form, the form can still be beautiful.
